Configuring Products
The Configuring Products guide provides detailed instructions on how to set up and manage product configurations within the WareTrack system. This includes defining product attributes, categories, and initial stock levels.
Steps to Configure Products
1. Access the Product Configuration Interface
To start configuring products, navigate to the Product Management section in your WareTrack dashboard. For guidance on using the product management interface, refer to FAQs / Product Management.
2. Define Product Attributes
In the product configuration interface, you can define key attributes for each product. This includes:
- Product Name: The name of the product.
- Category: The category to which the product belongs. Refer to category Ecommetce category for details on categories.
- Unit Price: The price at which the product is sold.
- Description: A brief description of the product.

3. Set Initial Stock Levels
Once you have defined the product attributes, set the initial stock levels:
- Stock Quantity: Enter the initial amount of stock available for each product. Details on stock management can be found in stock_quantity How many are in stock.
4. Save and Verify Configuration
After configuring the products, save your changes and verify that the products appear correctly in the inventory list.
